Snow, Ice and Hot Chocolate

Despite the cold outside, I dare to go for a walk… I want to feel the city!

3 pair of socks, 2 winter coats, a warm scarf, winter hat… ah, I almost forgot the gloves!, and here I go! At first I think it is not that cold… but after 100 meters I’m trying to wear the scarf up to the cheeks!

Walking through the Dronning Louises Bridge I find a completely frozen lake (except the little puddle next to the bridge where the ducks are) everywhere is covered by snow. And to my surprise people can actually walk on it. It’s a bit scary though when you see the ice under the cover of snow.

The negative temperatures do not stop families from going out with their little babies or to walk the dog.
The coffee shops and bars are full of people drinking their very hot drinks!

Eventually I decide to do the same “(…) a hot chocolate please!”
A little sip is all I need to warm my heart and my feet. hmmmm, it’s delicious the taste of this sweet mixture of cold, cold, cold and hot, hot, hot.
